Juventud Unida Universitario of San Luis begin their Federal A Reválida campaign on Sunday, 2 August. The first assignment is away to Germinal in Rawson, opening a ten-team Zone B that will determine survival over nine rounds.

The bottom two teams in the group will be relegated to the 2027 Torneo Argentino del Interior. That rule makes every result a direct part of the fight to preserve divisional status, with a short table in which dropped points may continue to matter until the end.

Juventud enter the new stage after changing coach and adding reinforcements. Starting away from San Luis will provide an immediate test of the squad’s response against Patagonian opponents who share the objective of moving clear of the relegation places.

The opening round also features Deportivo Rincón-Guillermo Brown, Fundación Amigos por el Deporte-Círculo Deportivo, Atlético Club San Martín-Costa Brava and Sol de Mayo-Santamarina. Clubs from different provinces make up the group and must manage a competition shaped by long journeys.

Juventud’s schedule continues at home to Fundación Amigos por el Deporte on 8 August. Four days later they visit Guillermo Brown in Puerto Madryn before hosting Círculo Deportivo on the 16th, an opening sequence alternating travel across Cuyo and Patagonia.

The meeting with Germinal therefore opens a stage with a different purpose from the first phase: the task is no longer to approach the Campeonato round but to retain a place in the division. Juventud’s first step is to collect points in Rawson before bringing the survival contest back to San Luis.
