Claudio Destéfano has his own distinctive way of making things happen: he imagines an idea, finds people willing to support it and makes each person feel they have something valuable to contribute. Those of us who have worked on projects with him know that energy. That is why, at ARGIE, we were so delighted by the Gold Eikon awarded to Club Atlético Atlas’s sponsorship campaign, recognized among the winning entries in the 2026 awards for excellence in institutional communication.
ARGIE sponsored “Nessun Dorma — Atlas, One Club, One Country: Unique Piece”, and we are proud to have supported an initiative that brought different companies together around the club and a nationwide identity. Claudio was its driving force: he knew how to bring people on board, inspire them and give each participant a place in a shared story. For us, taking part has the value of those projects remembered as much for what they achieved as for the people with whom we worked.
This distinction builds on a journey that had already brought a major celebration in 2025, with the Mercurio Award in its category and the Grand Gold Mercurio Award in the Entrepreneurs segment. Recognition from the world of marketing is now joined by recognition from communications: two fields acknowledging the creativity and work behind this initiative.
The ceremony at the Hotel InterContinental also brought another reason to celebrate: the team won the Gold Eikon in the Cultural Sustainability category for its work to enhance the Hall of Heroes at the Museo Malvinas e Islas del Atlántico Sur. The project, presented under the name “Muchos de Poquito”, expresses a conviction that runs through Claudio’s work: when many people find a way to contribute, undertakings worthy of everyone’s effort can become reality. In this case, in the service of remembrance and tribute to our heroes.
That ability to unite people around a common purpose is also evident at the TOP Museum, Templo del Otro Partido, of which Claudio is founder and director. There, among more than 5,000 jerseys and countless objects that hold stories from the world of sport, our ARGIE football boots are on display. Having a place in that space fills us with pride and connects us with a community that recognizes sport as a cherished part of our identity.
TOP is also a place where gatherings, charity events and solidarity initiatives take shape. Through Claudio and that community, we have been invited to support those who represent our colors: Los Murciélagos at Paris 2024 and Argentina’s futsal team at the Special Olympics in Asunción. These experiences bring us closer to the athletes, their efforts and the responsibility to be there when needed.
For all these reasons, today we celebrate these awards with affection and gratitude. We are proud of Claudio’s work, his generosity in opening doors and his perseverance in carrying each project forward.
