The Consejo Federal has defined the fourth round of the 2026 Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. There will be 22 home-and-away ties involving 44 clubs across eight regions, all following a common schedule: first legs on 8 November and returns on the 15th. The competition awards four places in Federal A, although each region retains a distinct route reflecting its number of participants.

In the North, Concepción FC first host Deportivo Villa San Antonio and Talleres de Perico receive Altos Hornos Zapla. Litoral Norte features Municipal of San Francisco de Laishí against Sportivo Cultural of Juan José Castelli, while Huracán of Goya open at home to La Picada of Posadas. These four interprovincial series make travel and adaptation almost as important as football performance.

The Central Region contains four eliminations: Central Argentino de La Banda-Unión Lugones, Américo Tesorieri-Villa Cubas, Unión Santiago-Defensores de la Boca and General Paz Juniors-Camioneros de Córdoba. The Catamarca derby between Tesorieri and Villa Cubas removes long-distance travel but increases emotional weight. Winners still require a fifth and then a sixth regional round before producing a representative.

Litoral Sur offers Juventud Unida of Gualeguaychú-Atlético Paraná and Ben Hur of Rafaela-Colón of San Justo. Cuyo has Defensores de Belgrano of Justo Daract-Sportivo Desamparados and Sport Club Pacífico of General Alvear-Argentino of San José. With two initial series in these regions, the following round directly matches the winners and turns every first-leg advantage into a significant asset.

Pampeana Norte has four ties: San Lorenzo de Villa Castells-Atlético Chascomús, Malvinas of Adolfo Sourdeaux-Atlético Paraná of San Nicolás, 9 de Julio of Chacabuco-Atlético Baradero and SOMISA-Academia Mascherano. Buenos Aires geography reduces some journeys compared with other regions, but combines leagues with different playing styles. Winners meet in two brackets before a sixth regional round.

In Pampeana Sur, Huracán of Ingeniero White face Ferro of General Pico, and Deportivo Norte of Mar del Plata meet Racing of Olavarría. Patagonia adds four series: Camioneros of Río Grande-Escorpión of Río Gallegos, CAI-Jorge Newbery in a Comodoro Rivadavia derby, Atlético Regina-Jorge Newbery of Carmen de Patagones, and Estudiantes Unidos of Bariloche-Alianza of Cutral Co. Distance, weather and logistics magnify sporting difficulty there.

The fifth round is scheduled for 22 and 29 November; regions requiring a sixth play on 6 and 13 December. Home order has already been assigned in every bracket, making it more than an administrative detail: it shapes travel, recovery and strategy. The fourth round reduces the map but does not yet award promotion. Every club must manage two matches knowing a home error may demand a comeback hundreds or thousands of kilometres away.
