Real Pilar enter the final Primera B round with a narrow but still open possibility of qualifying for the 2027 Copa Argentina. The team visit Villa San Carlos at Berisso's Genacio Sálice stadium from 1pm on Saturday. Valentín Bocaccia will referee the match, which is scheduled for broadcast through LPF Play.

The first requirement permits no interpretation: the Monarca must win. They occupy seventh place on 65 points, behind Villa Dálmine on 68 and Camioneros on 67. A draw or defeat ends every external scenario. Even with three points, Real Pilar need those competitors to surrender the advantages built across the previous 41 rounds.

Goal difference makes the task still more demanding. Real Pilar stand at plus four, while Villa Dálmine and Camioneros possess significantly stronger figures. The points alone therefore do not settle the equation: Darío Lema's side require a substantial victory and defeats for their rivals that reduce the gap. Qualification depends on several scorelines rather than one simple calculation.

The immediate precedent supplies confidence. Real Pilar come from a 2-1 win over Liniers in a match played largely with ten men. That response demonstrated resistance and the ability to protect a result under pressure. Berisso demands another type of performance, however, because the visitors must attack ambitiously without exposing themselves against Villa San Carlos in their final home fixture.

Lema is considering changes to the starting team. Nahuel Basualdo could replace Francisco Abre, while Daniel González is an alternative to Dylan Vergara. The likely core contains Martín Perafán; Darío Leguiza, Valentín Gelos and Enzo Franco; Valentín Mancini and Nahuel Pansardi; Mathías Crocco, Brian Martín and Ronaldo Aguilar, with the coach resolving his two questions near kick-off.

One peculiarity is that the rivals' matches do not all begin simultaneously. Real Pilar must finish their own assignment before following Camioneros-Excursionistas and Italiano-Villa Dálmine, both scheduled for 3pm. The separation may increase anxiety but simplifies the message on the pitch: during the first ninety minutes, no useful calculation can replace the obligation to win.

Copa Argentina qualification would expand the club's calendar, exposure and economic possibilities in 2027. Missing out would not erase a campaign that kept Real Pilar near the leading positions until round 42, although it would leave a sense of entering the decisive race late. In Berisso, the Monarca must produce the strongest possible result and accept that the final verdict also belongs to two other stadiums.
