Nine matches and 22 goals in Saturday's Primera Nacional action

The interzonal round produced seven home wins, one draw and one away victory on Saturday, 15 August. Ferro beat Atlanta 3-1, Colón and Quilmes won 3-0, and Deportivo Maipú defeated Godoy Cruz 2-1 in Mendoza.

The Primera Nacional completed nine matches in its interzonal round on Saturday, 15 August. The programme produced 22 goals, with seven home wins, one draw and a single away victory.

The 15:00 block brought four wins for the hosts. Agropecuario beat Ciudad de Bolívar 1-0, Deportivo Morón defeated Almagro 2-0, Ferro overcame Atlanta 3-1 and San Miguel beat Colegiales 2-0.

Mitre of Santiago del Estero and Güemes recorded the day's only draw, 1-1 at Estadio Castiglione. It was also one of only two matches in which both teams scored.

Colón earned one of Saturday's widest margins by defeating Patronato 3-0 at the Brigadier Estanislao López. The result was part of a day featuring four home wins by at least two goals.

The only away celebration came in Mendoza. Deportivo Maipú beat Godoy Cruz 2-1 at the Feliciano Gambarte to take the three points from a provincial contest featuring three goals.

The closing matches reinforced the home trend: Estudiantes de Buenos Aires defeated Chacarita 2-0 in Caseros and Quilmes beat San Telmo 3-0 at the Centenario. Those results completed Saturday's nine-match list.
