Independiente Rivadavia defeated Huracán 2-1 in Mendoza to claim a victory in the second round of the Torneo Clausura. The match formed part of Zone B and left the home side with all three points after a contest decided by a one-goal margin.
The game was played on Thursday, 30 July, from 19:00. Home advantage again placed Mendoza football at the centre of a top-flight matchday as La Lepra and El Globo faced one another.
Pablo Dóvalo was the referee, assisted by Gerardo Lencina and Lucas Ripoli. Matías Billone served as fourth official, while Daniel Zamora was responsible for VAR and Gastón Suárez acted as AVAR.
The 2-1 result brought the match to a close with a narrow but sufficient advantage for Independiente Rivadavia. Huracán, meanwhile, left Mendoza without points and must recover in a competition that places both teams in the same zone.
Their campaigns continue on Monday, 3 August. Independiente Rivadavia visit Sarmiento at 16:45, while Huracán host Atlético Tucumán from 21:15, giving both sides a new opportunity to collect points in round three.
