Chubut expanded its medal collection on the second day of the 33rd Binational Araucanía Games in Chile's Los Ríos Region. Athletics, judo and swimming delivered titles, while the team sports experienced mixed results and moved into a decisive round of fixtures that will determine access to the semi-finals.

Olivia Conesa again stood at the centre of the athletics performance. After winning the 400 metres on the opening day, she took the 100 metres in 11.74 seconds and collected her second individual gold. She was also part of the 4x100 relay that earned bronze alongside Nimba and Nara Saint Fort Laurent and Denise Torres, confirming Chubut's sprinting depth.

Judo added two championships through Adriana Farías in the under-52-kilogram category and Kiara Fernández at under 57. Abigail Currumil completed the contribution with bronze at under 78 kilograms. In swimming, the men's 4x50 freestyle relay won an extremely close finish against Río Negro by less than one tenth of a second.

Individual results keep Chubut visible in the medal table, but the collective schedule now carries the greatest uncertainty. The men's football side beat La Pampa 2-0 through Nicolás Gárate's penalty and a Santino Currumil goal. Victory over Los Lagos will secure a semi-final place. The women's team lost 1-0 to La Pampa and seeks recovery against Ñuble.

Both basketball teams were defeated by Neuquén. The men lost 71-61 and need to beat Los Lagos by more than fifteen points to preserve a qualification possibility. The women went down 53-46 and next face Magallanes. The points difference requirement turns every possession in those upcoming games into part of a precise competitive calculation.

The men's volleyball team is in a stronger position after beating Ñuble 3-1 for its third successive victory. Matches against La Pampa and Neuquén will decide its semi-final place. The women defeated Los Ríos 3-0 with wide set margins before losing 3-0 to Bío Bío; their encounter with Tierra del Fuego will determine whether the campaign continues.

Cycling and table tennis complete a programme requiring depth rather than only headline performers. The women's cyclists finished fourth in the team time trial and the men ninth before the individual events. Chubut's table-tennis pairs could not win and now move to the singles draws. The delegation has already celebrated several golds; its next objective is to convert that production into collective qualifications and sustain performance throughout the binational week.
