Monday’s closing programme was highlighted by Boca Juniors’ 2-1 victory over Racing at Complejo Tita Mattiussi. At Ciudad Deportiva, San Lorenzo and Ferro drew 2-2, while River Plate beat Independiente 1-0 at River Camp.
Sunday began with a 2-2 draw between SAT and Talleres. Belgrano defeated Huracán 2-0, and San Luis FC earned a 2-1 win over Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata.
The other two Sunday fixtures also ended in away victories. Lanús beat Newell's 1-0 and Unión overcame Banfield 2-1, completing an opening day with four winners and one draw.
The round produced two four-goal draws, five one-goal victories and one win by a two-goal margin. With every fixture completed, the Clausura now has a full second chapter to shape the competition before the next matchday.
