Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy return to Primera Nacional action on Sunday 26 July when they host Güemes de Santiago del Estero. The Zone B matchday 22 fixture kicks off at 16:00 at Estadio 23 de Agosto and marks the resumption of the Jujuy club’s competitive calendar.
El Lobo enter the match after their round-21 game against Quilmes was postponed. The AFA halted activity in every division on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 July because of the 2026 World Cup final between Argentina and Spain. That fixture still has no new date or kick-off time.
The lack of a date for the Quilmes match leaves one game outstanding as Gimnasia move into a more regular run of fixtures. After hosting Güemes, they will visit Colegiales on matchday 23 and then return to Estadio 23 de Agosto to face Tristán Suárez in the following round.
The next section includes an interzonal home game against Chaco For Ever, a visit to Patronato and a home meeting with Agropecuario. Matches against Almagro, Atlético Rafaela, Deportivo Maipú, San Martín de Tucumán and Temperley then follow, alternating between home and away through the second half of the competition.
The regular-season schedule concludes with Gimnasia y Tiro, Nueva Chicago, Atlanta and San Martín de San Juan from rounds 33 to 36. Before that sequence, the Güemes match commands immediate attention: it is the team’s return in front of its supporters and its first chance to regain rhythm while the Quilmes fixture awaits rescheduling.
