Villa Dálmine adjusted their squad for the second half of the Primera B season with moves involving the attack and players developed at the club. The Campana institution confirmed one signing, one contract termination and one loan.
Fernando Giménez signed his deal and became the Viola’s new forward. The 31-year-old arrives from Juventud Unida and brings extensive promotion-football experience, having also represented Comunicaciones, Acassuso and Flandria.
The most direct departure was Luciano Brandán. Club and player agreed to end the contract after a spell in which the forward started 14 matches and scored four goals.
The future of Santiago Roldán was also settled. The 2006-born academy midfielder joined Puerto Nuevo on a one-year loan, with a clause allowing Villa Dálmine to recall him after six months.
The moves address two complementary needs: adding immediate experience to compete and creating space for a young player to gain minutes. Dálmine enter the decisive stage with a reshaped squad and the challenge of remaining in the Primera B race.
