Federal A 2026 is moving through an intense and deeply territorial transfer market. The 37 participating clubs, divided into four zones, are adjusting their squads with one common objective: securing one of the two promotion places to Primera Nacional.
The movement reaches institutions throughout the country. Alvarado and Kimberley represent Mar del Plata; Villa Mitre and Olimpo, Bahía Blanca; Boca Unidos, Corrientes; Juventud Antoniana, Salta; San Martín and Sol de América, Formosa; and Cipolletti and Sol de Mayo, Río Negro.
The lists of arrivals and departures reveal constant circulation between divisions, regional leagues and foreign clubs. Players from Primera Nacional, metropolitan lower tiers and provincial competitions are joining teams seeking experience, renewal and depth.
Coaching staffs are also changing. Alvarado appointed Pablo Martel, Boca Unidos opened a new stage with Lucas Batistuta and Villa Mitre added Diego Cochas, within a dynamic in which the coach is central to rebuilding each project.
With two promotion places at stake, the transfer market becomes the year’s first competition. Before the ball determines the standings, interior football is already playing its own match: assembling teams capable of representing their cities and sustaining the dream of Primera Nacional.
