The Women's U13 and U15 Regional Federal Amateur Tournament completed its first ties across a geography that is both vast and uneven. From Salta to Mar del Plata, developing players contested two-legged eliminations combining heavy wins, penalty shootouts and very close series. The update through 27 August presents qualified teams, unresolved matches and a decisive schedule prepared for Sunday 30 August.
Los Cachorros were prominent in the North and advanced in both age groups against Central Norte. In U13, they lost the first leg 1-0 before responding 2-0 through an Araceli Juliana Aguilera Valencia double and winning 2-1 on aggregate. In U15, the tie finished 3-3, but the Salta side prevailed 3-0 on penalties. Both teams will now face San Martín de Tucumán.
Catamarca also produced two different qualifiers. Parque Daza dominated the U13 series against La Banda FC with two 5-0 victories and a 10-0 aggregate score; Loana Abigail Herrera scored four times across the matches. In U15, La Fiel beat the same opponent 1-0 and 3-1 to advance 4-1. Estudiantes de Río Cuarto provide the next obstacle in both categories.
Cuyo offered more varied routes. San Martín de San Juan eliminated Sportivo Desamparados on penalties in U13 after a 2-2 aggregate draw. In U15, Godoy Cruz defeated Ciudad Deportiva de Tupungato 17-0 overall, while Desamparados settled its series against San Martín 6-0. La Fusión de San Luis advanced following a 4-4 aggregate draw and a shootout. New ties begin on 30 August.
In Bonaerense Pampeana Norte, sporting outcomes were joined by an administrative decision. Brandsen advanced 3-1 against SOMRA because the return was not played in the absence of medical cover, a situation that also caused the Escobar club's removal from the U13 competition. Sarmiento de Junín came back against El Fortín and won 4-3. For Ever, Defensores Junior, SOMRA, Sarmiento and Juventud de Pergamino progressed in U15.
Southern Buenos Aires has already crowned Aldosivi in U13. The Mar del Plata team defeated Balonpié de Bolívar 7-0 and 9-0, completed a 16-0 aggregate result and secured the region. In U15, Aldosivi overcame Alvarado 3-2, while Racing de Olavarría eliminated Racing de General Lamadrid 6-0. Those winners meet on 30 August in the first match of the regional final.
The bracket nevertheless retains gaps that should not be hidden. The U13 match between Mitre de Posadas and Social River de Oberá was cancelled, as was Saavedra against CAI in Patagonia; other fixtures remain pending or before the tribunal. That combination demonstrates both the value and fragility of youth competition: it expands women's football but requires organization, medical coverage and continuity to provide talent with a safe route.
